• Stockfish Flavoured Pasta

If you follow Afrolems on Instagram, you will remember I promised a slightly more traditional version of valentines day and I am keeping to that promise by starting with this Stockfish Flavoured Pasta recipe. What inspired this you ask?

Well, my mum typically blends the discarded bits of stockfish into powder and we use it as extra seasoning for dishes and I saw it lying around and decided to add it to my creamy pasta dish and I was pleasantly surprised. It had a depth of flavour that only stockfish can provide. I have in recent times seen some nordic chefs play around with stockfish and I have been loving the recipes.

Knowing my Nigerian people, let’s start with relatable meals and I am sure in due time, we would be more willing to try more daring recipes. There’s no better time than now to share this lovely recipe with you all and I hope you enjoy it.
