    Home Made Burger Recipe

Whenever I serve my burger recipes at a private event, I constantly get questions on how I got it to be so tasty? Sometimes we go out to buy burgers and we are upset at the waste of money and possibly calories. If I am going to sin, I may as well go all out. I cannot be the only one that hates to waste my calorie sin.

Burgers are very easy and quick to make especially when you want to serve something simple at a barbecue event in your home. If you are not great on the grill, you can use your regular frying pan and create a burger so yummy.

Once you learn how to make the simple version which is what I am posting a recipe for, I am challenging you to add something different to your burger. Add some suya spice, maybe some parsley to your meat just make sure you add something different and improve your burgers with time. You can also substitute with ground chicken, pork, mashed fish etc. Another way to increase the flavor is to mix pepper sauce with your mayonnaise before smearing on the bun. Trust me that takes the flavor of your burger from 0 to 100.

Recipe for Home Made Burger Recipe

    Ingredients

    1 pound of Ground Beef

    4 Bread Buns

    1 Scotch Bonnet Pepper

    1 bulb of Onion

    2 cloves of Garlic

    1 tablespoon of grated Ginger

    Seasoning Cubes

Half a bunch of Lettuce Leaves

    3 Small Firm Tomatoes

1 Cooking Spoon of Vegetable Oil

    1.5 Tablespoons of Mayonnaise

    1 teaspoon of Sugar

    Method

Rub a bit of vegetable oil on your hands or wear a glove before beginning this process.

In a bowl, mix your chopped scotch bonnet pepper, seasoning cubes, ginger, chopped garlic and half of your onion bulb chopped into small pieces. Mould your ground beef into small circular pieces.

In a pan on medium heat, add one tablespoon of vegetable oil at a time and gently place your ground beef pieces and reduce the heat and allow to brown on both sides. Cover the pan and allow the beef to cook in it’s juices on low heat for about 3-5 minutes. Take out your beef and set aside.

Mix your sugar and mayonnaise together and set aside.

Cut open your bread bun and smear some of the mayonnaise on both sides of the bread.

Add your lettuce, sliced tomato and onion. Smear some more mayonnaise on the vegetables.

Place your beef on the bun, smear some more mayonnaise, add one more lettuce and top with your bread.

    Serve warm.
