    Summer is fast approaching or we can safely say is already here and everyone is hitting the gym and possibly staying away from Nigerian food. Nigerian food has been widely notorious for not being healthy and I call the bluff on those claims and say it depends on how you cook it. By limiting your oil and eliminating salt from your dishes, it can make such a difference. As they say too much of everything is not good so you would notice in my low carb nigerian meal plan, I did not completely eliminate carbohydrates as they digestion of the protein may be too much on your body. I started with a one-week suggestion of what your time-table may look like, I have also included a downloadable blank version so you can create your own meal plan from scratch based on posts you see on my blog. I hope this will be helpful to someone that has been trying to figure out how to eat Nigerian food and still maintain their health.

      This looks so simple and do-able. Lots of ‘obstruction’ so you dont feel the loss of the cards…..

        Well if you think of this more as a sustainable plan filled with what you are used to eating then you would be ok. Obviously if you want to lose more weight, you would need to work harder but I find that I can do this for 3 weeks and have a full carb week that way it’s more sustainable for me in the long run.

      This is a great start! Great ideas. I think if you picked your fruits and vegetables more carefully, you could drastically reduce the amount of carbohydrates without hurting the nutritional value of the food. Also, you could probably include a lot more food. For instance, the times where you have a big bowl of watermelon, you could probably have a whole vegetable salad or some mixed vegetables. Better nutritional content, lower carbs and, most likely a more satisfied feeling because its more food.

        Thank you Emi, This was definitely my first timetable I used that worked for me because I just decided to go with the flow of what I liked. Incorporating more vegetables is the way to go and I would give an update of a new timetable when I get a chance.

      This is great. I had an LCHF meal plan and all I needed to complete this task was not in the everyday market and when u see them in designated places it’s expensive (like zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli )which made it difficult . But I still had to buy them cos I had a goal. If u can provide more meal plan it will be super kool. Great Job

      Another one is do I had lemon to my water and can I take soda often

      This isn’t anyway keto to be honest! The plan may work for people who choose to follow it but be clear on this…. this plan isn’t keto.
