• 90 Second Cookie in a Bowl

Pinterest is a miracle website because it has definitely opened my eyes and mind to different ways to play around with food. Today one of my tweaked experiments was the 90 second microwave cookie in a bowl. Most people I had previously seen had a cookie in a mug and microwaved it for 60 seconds but I guess i did not trust it so i decided on a little more cooking time. I would however say the result was delicious. I would definitely be hitting the gym after this as we must figure out a way to burn the calories we consume anyway. I added some twists to my recipe so hope you enjoy this soft, chewy chocolate coconut cookie in a bowl.

    Ingredients

    1 Tablespoon of melted butter

    1 teaspoon of vanilla

    1 egg yolk

2 tablespoons of sugar (feel free to regulate this)

    A pinch of salt

    1/4 cup of flour

1 tablespoon of chocolate chips (Also feel free to regulate)

    1 tablespoon of shredded coconut

    Method

Melt your butter and set aside.

Separate your egg yolk from the egg white and mix with the melted butter.

Mix all the ingredients in one bowl and place in the microwave for 90 seconds. (1 min 30 seconds)

I did mine in bits so I did one minute first then 15 seconds and another 15 seconds and I enjoyed it with some tea. Hope you like it.
